The first stop of our tour is in the city of Tomar. Accompanied by our guide, here you will visit the Convent of Christ. Built by the Knights Templar in 1160, the Convent of the Order of Christ is a fantastically unique monastic fortress. Construction continued for nearly five centuries, turning the Templar stronghold into a gallery of Portuguese architectural styles, including very special one called Manuelino. You will also have a chance to learn a lot about monastic life and mysterious Knights Templar.

Mira de Aire Caves are the greatest touristic caves in the country. They stand out for their indisputable beauty, revealed by the Stalactites' Route, which includes several rooms: the "Big Room", the magically coloured "Red Room", the sparkling "Jewelry", the "Majestic Dome" and the abrupt descend to the "Gallery". As you walk along these galleries, you will have a chance to contemplate the unusual limestone formations, such as the jellyfish, the small lakes, the "hell's mouth". Yes, here you can see the great show of water, light and sound!

The visit to Alcobaça closes the tour. Today, this country's oldest Gothic monastery is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The history of the most famous Portuguese lovers Pedro and Ines is no less tragic and inflamed with passion than Romeo and Juliet's.
